This is my inquiry video for safety kit advertisement.

P.E.

WALT: develop fundamental skills required for athletics 

WILF: - Correct technique for throwing the discus and shotput

Correct technique for long jump and high jump

Passing the baton accurately in relay sprints

I am proud of my running coming 2 for long  and 3 for short.

It was a challenge for me to high jump but I did ok.

My next step is to do better in high jump.

Next year I would like to be in the champs

My best event was running because I came 2nd and 3rd

WALT: develop the skills or batting, bowling, throwing, and fielding in cricket

WILF: 

- overarm throwing when fielding

- catching with hands held like a basket

- straight arm bowling

- eyes on the ball and move the bat all the way through when batting

The skill I am best at is bating because i hit the ball far

My next step is to catch more.

Excellence

WALT:  display excellence in all that we do

WILF: has been 'me' displaying 'my best, a can do attitude' in different situations, environments and in my learning.

Next Step:  I believe I still need to work on showing excellence in spelling  I will do my best to do this in 2017.   

Plane crash

I was at the airport waiting for my flight to a tropical island it was 1 hour to the flight. Tropical island flight take off I ran I nearly missed it I just got in the plane 3 2 1 take of

When we were in the middle of the flight I saw a Island a mistcheives Island then all of a sudden boom the engine rawed there was beebing and a siren.bump I knocked my head and passed out when I woke I saw everyone knocked there was no clouds just soft white sand then I imagined the mistchiveise Island I had a walk around ahh I nearly died I looked behind me there was a huge hole I was on a small platform.

Then I saw a small flax rope dropping down in my face Then a monkey peeks over? He's on something It's a… dog and the monkeys on his back they pulled me up it was starting to cut my hands I finally got up my hands were num and the were pus and blisters stuck all over my hands pus starded to blossom on my hands. I looked at the dog and starded to slowly pat it it said what do you think your doing then I phainted again I woke up in wailed house then I saw the dog? I quickly got up and started sprinting to the deck it was a tree house. Then already heard rescue hellycopters and men dropping of them the they saw the door and stared to march in and took me to the hellycopter I was when I got in and thought it was a dream.

Reading

WALT:work collaboratively to have a better understanding of what we read.

What we have been doing:Reciprocal Reading taking turns at clarify summarising predicting and Questing we take one week to Read one story.

Onekawa pools

WALT: I'm learning to chunk words.

NEXT STEP: to chunk bigger words.

On Friday 22.7.16 I went to onekwa pools Napier with my dad and my older sisters Zoe and Eva because my Dad parked his car in the centre of the car parks and then we hoped out of the car.Parks and then we hoped out of the car.Then dad payed for us and we got the slide wriste band.

When we got inside we ran to the slides but dad and I ran to the length pool to do races we did breath stroke freestyle and backstroke dad won all the races but I was not far behind him.then I went down the slide (wooooo) and I did the slide on and on a long time.

The I got changed into my clothes and put my socks and shoes to play outside while my dad was on his phone doing work stuff.I went down the the bright yellow slide outside.It was slippery from all the wet people.Then we said lets go I told the girls to get changed and come out to the car.

After we said bye to the person at the counter then then we went out and walked to the car Dad looked in his car for a tennis ballroom through but he had none all he found was a golf ball so we were doing passes with a golf ball.then my sisters came out and we packed up and left. (Thanks dad)

Going to kohupatiki Marae

On Friday 24.6.16 we want to the kohupatiki Marae we were in groups one to seven we had to go with the matching class and group seven was with room 10 I was group 2.With room 2 there was 7 actives and everyone did 4 I did Marae

Games the games were knuckle bones string stick banging ,poi making,flax weaving,and we were drawing on the mural.The things I didn't do feather cotes kites and book bye the river.Everyone did cookie decorating that was just a everyone thing not a activity.It was sunny and bright day it was a little cloudy but fine.I hope we go again it was really fun.

Earth to Pluto

Task: write a set of instructions on how to get from Earth to a planet of your choice.

WALT:

- a chosen planet’s location in the solar system.

- a chosen planet’s distance from earth.

- planets you will pass by to get to the chosen planet.

- obstacles that may be on the journey, e.g. Atmosphere, moons...

Writing

We had to do a story and we had to include jandles a duck and keys.

I'm home finally I'm running as fast as I can to get to my apartment.What's  that creeking  noise?it’s probably the door mm when I unlocked the door my jandle was tighter then before so I decided to lay down  on my bed I still have my jandles on I might go get a drink but my door is locked my jandles are are gone so I went and sat on the window and think of what happened and I heard something weird and then my jandles slipped ahh then I looked up and fell on my bed in shock breathing loudly it was not a person or an bird it was a devel! With black eyes I said to myself this is a dream but it wasn't it helped me tho it is a good devil.Then it gave me keys to the door finally I said to myself should I trust it? ahh ok I will ring the police/Paul Blart. I rang Paul Blart he said I'm Paul Blart what's the problem there is a devil in my apartment it is 263 Main Street I'm on my way I saw someone riding a pig down the street is that him no it's not o right devel after this I'm apartment.tlhats why it was only $1 it was so cheap tho I'll find a better one.Then I heard the police Paul Blart is here I'm the man watch out next to you the devel Paul Blart runs really fast the devil can't catch him run run as fast as you can but you can't catch me I'm Paul Blart.And then a guy called rowen a swat came and started shooting the devil the devil said you again rowen was like you! you were my friend the duck said just stop why are you still waring jandles? Yer.Why are you still talking rowen he is my best friend he lived there he haunts it he doesn't hurt anyone ok sorry for ringing the police it's ok.

Walt:I have been doing narrative writing and storys and tasks in mr bs workshop it was fun

Walt:I've have Learnt to do round with mr w and Mrs n and to round question and sheets.

We had to do a acrostic poam of honesty beacause honesty is our term 1 value.

Writing

Wilf:is to use describing words (adjectives)naming words (nouns) 5 senses hearing-sound seeing-sight

WALT:write a introduction for a narrative by describing the setting.

We had to draw a picture of the writing on the top of the paper and read it and copy what we think it would look like.

P.e.

Walt:this term for p.e. I have been in the Dolphins but I moved up to seals because These are the things that I learnt 

past,use regular breathing action,swim 1 length freestyle,swim one length swim a two length medley.

I am learning know to 

Tread water for two minutes.

Do a standard dive.

Swim a length breast stroke.

Swim a 3 length medley.

WALT:keeping ourselves safe.

I made a project to how to be safe while scootering to school.

NEXT STEP:I'm going to include more pictures more facts and more couloir on the poster.

 made five hazards don't stop to pat stray dogs,if there is strangers scooter away,cars backing out of drive ways,out,don't scooter to fast or you could fall of,and if there is a thing on the footpath move it so you don't fall of.
